Why Meravella exists
Travel planning has never had more information and never felt harder. Ten tabs open, a hundred “10 best” lists, and still no answer to the only question that matters: which one should I actually pick? Meravella exists to end that. We don’t help you dream about travel — we help you make one confident travel decision, fast.
How our recommendations are made
Every guide is built the same way: we define the two-to-four kinds of traveler who take a trip, then choose one hotel and one meal for each — because “the best hotel” is a fantasy, but “the best hotel for your trip” is an answerable question. Every recommendation names who it’s for and who it’s not for. Every fact is sourced and dated. When we haven’t stayed somewhere ourselves yet, we say so plainly, and we update the day we do.
A Note from the Founder

Hi, I’m Stephanie.
I started Meravella because I was tired of planning trips the same way everyone else does—opening twenty browser tabs, reading hundreds of conflicting reviews, and still wondering if I was making the right decision.
Some of the best trips of my life happened because I found incredible places. Some of the most disappointing happened because I trusted the wrong recommendation.
I kept thinking, there has to be a better way.
That’s why I created Meravella.
My goal isn’t to tell you where to travel. It’s to give you the information, context, and confidence to choose what’s right for you.
Every guide, review, recommendation, and Decision Guide is personally written or edited by me. If we recommend something, it’s because I genuinely believe it’s worth your time and money. If we get something wrong, we’ll own it, correct it, and explain why.
You’ll see me throughout Meravella—not because this is about me, but because I believe trust starts with accountability. I want you to know there’s a real person behind every recommendation, someone who cares deeply about getting it right.
My hope is that, over time, Meravella becomes the first place you turn when you’re planning a trip—and the place you trust most when it matters.
Thank you for being here.
